Guest Blogger: Alex

A few weeks ago, I was featured on my friend Alex’s blog Adored by Alex (you can find a link to the story here) and after writing a piece for her blog, I couldn’t help but want her to put together a piece for Dear Serendipity! Alex created a collage of her favorite trending items for this summer and answered a few questions I had about her fantastic style!

1. West Elm flamingo pillow cover, 2. Milly, Kelsey leather mini bag in Citron, 3. J.Crew Factory two-pocket chambray shirt, 4. Tibi navy multicolored printed silk shorts, 5. Superga Cotu classic sneaker in orange, 6. Moon & Lola acrylic block monogram necklace, 7. Bobbi Brown beach body lotion and fragrance

Who is your favorite designer (and what do you love about them)? I am so inspired by many different designers which makes it virtually impossible for me to narrow it to just one. However, some of the highest on my list would include Armani (his fabrics are impeccable), Elie Saab (his gowns are perfect) and Milly (her pieces make it so easy to achieve chic-ness).

What is one item in your closet that you could never live without? Spring-Summer: My Tory Burch white classic cut jeans, my five pairs of Jack Rogers navajo sandals (my obsession is getting out of hand!) and any J.Crew painter t-shirts. Fall-Winter: My Burberry quilted red and plum jackets, black Chanel flats and J. Brand skinny dark wash jeans.

What inspired you to start Adored by Alex? I began blogging a little more than a year ago on a whim after a few important people in my life suggested I create a means to share and write about things I love. I have always had a love affair with all things fashion and design, and while I am studying to become a sports broadcaster, Adored by Alex has been a way for me to catalogue my inspirations and life experiences in the hopes of sharing and inspiring others along the way.

How would you define your style in 3 words? Classic, feminine and sophisticated.

Are you all as obsessed with Alex’s picks as I am?! That Milly purse and monogram necklace are to die for. Thank you so much for contributing to Dear Serendipity, Alex!
