You might have seen my recent Tweet regarding the clothing brand Miss Me, but if you didn’t… I’m so excited to announce that I’m a new Brand Ambassador for Miss Me! Every month, I’ll be bringing you a look from their collection. I personally love Miss Me because of their primary goal: to create fashion for the modern woman. Women are no longer definable — they’re multi-dimensional in character, style and attitude. Miss Me has been featured in Glamour, Elle, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan and has been spotted on Miley Cyrus, Beyonce and Mischa Barton.

This month, I’m bringing you a classic work look. I work in PR, so I’m able to dress more casually than some — dark or black denim and sweaters or blouses are completely work appropriate. To dress up these black jeans and striped sweater, I added some classic shoes and some fun accessories.

When I was putting together my work-appropriate outfit it was crazy how many options Miss Me had when it comes to dark pants, sweaters and dresses. Be sure to check out Miss Me and see what work-appropriate pieces you love — which ones are your favorites?

I’m pretty sure you all could have assumed that I’m obsessed with Jack Rogers — they add that perfect summery + preppy vibe that I love incorporating into outfits. Typically, I stick with Jack Rogers classic Navajo sandals (my favorites are my gold ones — they go with literally everything) but I’ve recently been drawn to their flats. Since Spring isn’t fully in bloom up here in Washington yet, I’m still sticking to close-toed shoes, so these are perfect to transition me into the warmer months. Also, since these flats are black, they go with literally everything in my closet, which makes me happy that they’re so versatile. How do you wear your Jacks? #LoveMyJacks

When I’m super busy and running around like a chicken with my head cut off, I’m not very adventurous with my wardrobe. I stick to pants, booties, a tee or blouse and a cool jacket. Polished and put-together, yes, but also extremely functional. Last Friday I had meetings literally every hour of the day (including a doctor’s appointment — I’ve had a nasty sinus infection for about 2 weeks now that I can’t seem to shake) and I loved being able to run from thing to thing with ease and being able to throw everything into my well-worn Longchamp tote. Can you tell from all of the movement in these photos that I was on-the-go? What is your go-to uniform on busy days?
